These tires are amazing. Honestly, I received two tires the first day after installation. One from a tiny piece of glass, one from a tiny spike. I swore and declared I'd give this shit back! I bet I did. But then, after some thought, I decided to keep it to myself. These are not touring tires. This is a light, puffy street tire with some traction with some gravel. So if you need bulletproof protection, look elsewhere. Alligators maybe. Because on these gravel kings you sometimes collapse. Don't let the size fool you. I was just unlucky from the start. I've ridden them a few hundred miles (no more flats yet) and covered about 90% of the road with a few 3-4 mile gravel sections that I like to grind. regularly on the way home. They drive well on gravel. But basically I would say this is a road/dirt road tire for those who like firm rubber. I live in Los Angeles and I have to put up with a terrible city government. Yes, the taxes are unbelievably high, but don't think this will get rid of potholes on our roads. No sir! I've had smoother trips to third world countries. So these tires give me confidence and comfort on the streets of Los Angeles. Of course, they roll slower than a set of 28s, but it's not about speed. They offer softness and comfort that are simply unmatched. You descend with unmatched confidence. Since installing them, I've been riding my Vaya non-stop, leaving my road bike at home. They really bring joy. As for wear, there are no signs of wear after 300 km. Do yourself a favor and join us.
