The calipers look great and have a label advising them that they are aluminum and easy to remove. They say "follow the manufacturer's recommended torque" for the brake fluid line. I set my torque wrench to 30 ft. lbs, as per the service manual for my commuter states '05 Chevy, went to tighten the brake line banjo bolt, and puff - blew it! I contacted Power Stop and asked what they suggested and if they could fix the threads and they offered me another caliper for $50 plus shipping but didn't give me the recommended torque for the caliper's brake line connection (and they spoke not even about it). warranty replacement). I will not buy another caliper that has blown if I have no idea if it will do the same next time I put in a replacement!
