Looks great and works better than the original

I've read a lot of reviews on it, despite all the bad ones! I bought them anyway! They work great and they were easy to install even in 15 degrees. I froze my ass. There was no problem even with the brake line banjo bolt which everyone complained about, they are easy to install, I had no problem with them

My favorite heavy duty brake brand.

I've been wearing them for a few weeks now and I'm very happy. I can tell a big difference when actually hitting the brakes or just going down a long, slow hill. Unfortunately I wasn't able to do the proper break in procedure for the pods so the new smell lingered a little longer than usual but they seem good. I had no problems with the installation. I was concerned about the bleed screws based on the reviews, but mine were tight, light, and sealed. I think the real test will be the next time I

Removes in less than the blink of an eye

The calipers look great and have a label advising them that they are aluminum and easy to remove. They say "follow the manufacturer's recommended torque" for the brake fluid line. I set my torque wrench to 30 ft. lbs, as per the service manual for my commuter states '05 Chevy, went to tighten the brake line banjo bolt, and puff - blew it! I contacted Power Stop and asked what they suggested and if they could fix the threads and they offered me another caliper for $50 plus shipping but didn't…

extremely soft aluminum and poor quality

poor quality. For one, they're aluminum and it's almost impossible to screw the brake hose bolt tight enough without leaking. especially for a 4x4, and the passenger side caliper was so soft it seemed to crack and leak no matter what. The driver's side didn't leak, but the hose moved when pressure was applied. Aluminum is too soft for a secure, tight connection. would not trust on rough roads or off-road. First I installed on the driver's side, everything went well, there were no leaks, but I…
