
My wife loves tofu and I love to cook. I don't like cooking tofu, but I'm learning. I've always found it too watery, even "hard" tofu. It helps to alleviate this with good old fashioned remedies. Just creating takes some time, replicating takes up a lot of space and needs some time to use. Simple threaded bolts are effective, but you have to turn the nuts a little to tighten, then more to force the water out, then loosen to release the tofu. It's not difficult, but it seems more complicated than it needs to be. Cleaning is easy (water comes out most of the time) but otherwise everything is fine. I just found it a bit awkward, especially when I didn't have a budget for it at the time of prep.
