Review on Plustek Wireless Document Touchscreen Multi Page by Johnny Wheat

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Slow UI, only 300 dpi but good features

On the one hand, you might think that a $450 scanner would be faster and with a higher resolution. But apparently, network scanners don't come cheap. For example, Canon makes something similar but costs $2,000. If you really don't need a network, you can get something a lot cheaper. But my wife is technophobic. She can wait a little with the car as long as it's easy. This way I can set up multiple job links with one button and have them scan and print or scan and email. And it seemed to be working well, if not quickly. It's frustrating that sometimes you press a button on the screen and nothing happens because it's just slow. I think their A250 and/or A350 is much faster. As far as I know these models are very similar but have faster processors. But these models are hard to find in the US. I don't currently see them on Revain. And I'm sure they cost a lot more. And to be honest if I were to use this in the office instead of spending more money on a high end Plustek machine I think I could just buy a $2000 Canon machine. BTW, I'm not exactly sure what the difference is. is between A150 and A180. I could not find any good information on their website. It looks like A180 may not support Apple MAC. I don't care what But the UI seemed to show MAC support. And I thought that maybe the A180 doesn't have all three USB, Ethernet and WiFi interfaces. But he has all three. So I really don't know what the difference is. All I know is that the A180 was cheaper here at Revain, so I bought the A180.
