I use this adapter to connect an old laptop to a 1080p TV, using the computer mainly as a media player. The adapter has excellent 1080p picture quality. Also very handy is that it behaves like a USB sound card and automatically sends audio over HDMI. However, the big problem (with audio) is that the Windows 10 audio volume control doesn't work with the chip used in the adapter (one of the C-Media chips). This can be an obstacle when using your computer as a media player, since not only can you change the volume or mute the wireless keyboard, you have to do it with the TV remote. Adapter error but please note that you may not be able to play some copyrighted content in HD or at all as the VGA output is analog and therefore not HDCP compliant (Revain Prime only allows you to play in "Standard Definition". , while Netflix presumably can't let you play whatever).
