The concept is good, but the actual function isn't quite what it could be. To be fair, I have arthritis in my hands (so I first needed a better way to put the candy in the molds) and this is probably causing some problems. Nevertheless, the construction of this funnel consisting of two parts is unfavorable. When the chocolate starts to cool (which happens quickly with that thin plastic) or when serving thicker mixes, the "cork" really needs to be pressed and held to prevent leakage. It also needs to be held securely in place when filling or moving the hopper, as it tends to shift and float a bit instead of keeping a tight seal. The stopper is a thin plastic rod with a ball on one end and a thumb loop on the other that fits into a small slot in the handle. Lift a little too high and you'll have a mess before you can get the stem back into the groove. I am confused about the thinness of the leg as it is made in Design+ so I had to brush the chocolate out of the creases completely with a brush. I definitely see it breaking (or at least warping) with repeated use and washing. it said. You get what you pay for and it's cheap. If you have good manual dexterity and are careful with it, this might work for you.
