Stands are strong/sturdy, look nice, easy to set up. Especially the base feet look very cool. On my Wharfdale Diamond 225 I had to replace the rubber feet a bit because the footprint of the base is larger than the bottom plate of the stand. Not a big deal but it would be nice if the plates were a bit bigger. It seems that most speaker stands are aimed at surround sound and/or satellite speakers. 225 are large and fairly heavy bookshelf speakers. Despite the size of the base plate, they carry the speakers well. Sand etc. is not required as a filler. Cable management is simple and runs unobtrusively through holes in the rack, under the base plate, and over the stand. The holes can be slightly larger to allow both RCA plugs to be plugged in at the same time rather than individually. In general very satisfied.
