Although I live in a new house, I have never experienced so much dust. If I wipe in the morning, then in the evening there is dust on every service, especially on the floor. To help with this never ending routine I bought two air filters and while that helped a lot I still had to sweep at least every other day. I also ordered this ihome based on the reviews. I wasn't willing to pay over $500 for a robot vacuum. I'm so glad I tried this vacuum cleaner! I like the thoroughness of the cleaning, multiple intensity levels and cleaning settings, and the easy emptying. I love that it returns to the dock on its own! It's also considered a "smart" robot, so I can use the app to set a cleaning schedule, manually point the vacuum, and connect to Alexa. A few things to watch out for. First I have to run the vacuum several times to clean everything (by my particular standards). Fortunately, this is easy to set up in the app. I set it up for general cleaning and then corner cleaning and together it takes about an hour for my entire apartment. Second, I also noticed that the mapping the robot is doing has gotten better over time. I don't know if this is due to system updates or if the vacuum cleaner remembers my apartment, but it got "smarter" after the first few uses. Now it even moves under my sofa and between chairs with minimal issues. Third, the suction power is sometimes too good. In fact, I had to move and lift every cord in the house as the vacuum "ate" it and then shut it off. On the other hand, this vacuum cleaner is also powerful and intelligent enough to recognize the carpet and change the intensity, which I like. If you're thinking about getting a robot vacuum but don't want to spend money on one of the more well-known vacuums, you should definitely give this one a try. Just a note, the mop head is not included so don't expect it to be included in this price.
