Fit is important with any collar. This collar is a chrome chain with a braided piece of paracord woven inside. This is good because the collar does not drag the long coat. The collar is ideal for dogs that tend to have a little willpower. My Husky can and is usually very good at resisting training, but sometimes he loses all memory of what he "should" be doing and tries to run. This collar effectively stops him and uses gentle corrections along with voice commands to get him back to safety. Highly recommended.
