Collar arrived today as promised. It looks very nice. The thickness of the chain and the color are excellent. I read reviews about collars being shorter than expected so I ordered 22" collars thinking they would fit. I measured the collar and it wasn't even 22 inches from ring to ring. I like the look of the collar so I'm exchanging it for a 26" instead of asking for a refund.

Very, very well made. Looks great on my Bully. It's more for beauty, but once this week I had to put my fingers through a ring in the backyard (an unknown snake made its way under the fence) and it stopped immediately. She weighs over 150 pounds. Super strong chain. Thanks for rescuing her from a possible rattlesnake or water moccasin! I couldn't tell what it was because I'm scared of snakes so we ran! :-)

Very nice. However, this was not even close to the stated size. At first I thought it was a joke or a mistake but the tag showed the size I ordered. He was 4 inches shorter. I would forgive a 1 or 2 inch difference. But 4? If I used this knowledge when ordering and added 4 inches to my dog's height, they would not have been the right size for my dog. I returned it and received a refund immediately.

22 inches for a husky who sometimes forgets that humans aren't meant to be pulled like sleds. The chain is strong enough to control when her prey drive kicks in, and quickly weakens once she rolls again. This isn't the kind of chain that snaps when a rabbit comes by like some of the less expensive chains. The colored shoelaces didn't fade on her fur or get tangled in her coat. Would buy again. Note: Length is measured at the outer bends of the end rings.

I really like this for a number of reasons. I think the colored part that looks like shoelaces helps when walking my dog because it tightens and loosens easily. I had these collars for my older dog many years ago and they tightened easily but then would not loosen. The metal links are hooked together. Not this one in particular, and I like it. I purchased a 26" collar to use as a replacement for our GSD main collar. The primary collar was not working. The length shown is measured ring edge to ring edge, however for these collars the length needed to determine fit is the length of the chain (excluding rings). As I needed them to fit her tall and 26 inch size. Largest size available, I am returning the product. Fit is important with any collar. This collar is a chrome chain with a braided piece of paracord woven inside. This is good because the collar does not drag the long coat. The collar is ideal for dogs that tend to have a little willpower. My Husky can and is usually very good at resisting training, but sometimes he loses all memory of what he "should" be doing and tries to run. The length shown is measured ring edge to ring edge, however for these collars the length needed to determine fit is the length of the chain (excluding rings). Largest size available, I am returning the product. From the looks of the collar alone it seems strong and durable (untested) - I'd trust it to handle our 120lb GSD. I recommend subtracting about 3 inches from the listing length when sizing for your dog.
