Typical of Visioneer products (in my opinion) this one has issues that the manufacturer doesn't seem interested in fixing. The manufacturer seems to have made little effort to fix problems between hardware and software. Both should work fine with this type of peripheral. Road Warrior and the included software do not. Of extreme concern is the fact that scans of smaller items are cropped (i.e., automatically cropped) at critical points – such as items). The included software is bloated and incredibly slow. If I could go back to my old Visioneer Strobe (with lots of issues of its own) and PaperPort 9, I would. Not recommended.
