If you're looking for an inexpensive, relatively easy-to-configure option for wired Internet access via coaxial cable just for surfing the Internet, check out this option. More difficult to install than PowerLine, but does not pass a signal like PowerLine. However, if you need throughput and latency comparable to CAT5e/CAT6, just use MoCA. My latency and failure rate suffered a lot with DECA (60Mbps DL and 50ms ping) compared to CAT6 (600Mbps DL and 10ms ping), while the much more expensive MoCA brought me closer to CAT6 quality. (500Mbps DL and 15ms ping) So DECA for FaceBook and Netflix? Thumbs up. DECA for online gaming or big downloads? Thumbs down.
