I use this tool to remove the display on iPhones or even the back on a Pixel 3. It is probably the best phone tool I have purchased. I was able to apply a steady pressure to separate the phone while the heat was carefully applied around the edge. I use a small hobby heat gun to apply the heat as it has a small 1/2 inchoutlet and is easier to control and focus on small areas.
