later DO NOT overtighten. I'm a wrench and have worked with cars and trucks for more years than I care to count. I screwed this filter into my carburetor and just tightened it with a wrench. I hardly applied any force to it and it broke leaving a thread in my carburetor. What turned out to be a perfectly easy job for a beginner has turned into a nightmare and the truck won't be able to move until it's fixed. Have to order an easy exit kit, pull out the carburetor and try to pull it out that way. Definitely extremely dissatisfied with the quality of the material. It's basically cast metal and it takes almost no effort to break it. Let me stress again. I didn't try to overtighten it, just wanted to make sure I didn't have any gas leaks, so be forewarned. I expected more from Wix. I have been using their products for many years.
