I ordered a Dymo LM 280 with a roll of black tape on white. The product description and reviews said no power adapter came with the device, but mine did come with one. Now I have to send back the extra power supply that I ordered. Anyway, this label printer doesn't even need batteries, so I think they should give everyone an AC adapter. Anyone who says it takes 6 AAA batteries is full of it because it literally doesn't need any batteries. The device is very light, so it seems that the child comes up with a toy label. The device is good. You can literally plug it into your laptop and type in any font, insert any image, etc. It's a quality machine and definitely does a lot cooler stuff than any other label printer I've used. BUT. I hate to say it but I really hate the way he looks lol. The Amazon photo looked like a Blackberry, but it looks like a giant fake Star Trek scanner. Also, I read a TON of reviews complaining about the amount of wasted tape. I have used many label makers and have no idea what people are talking about. This label printer takes up as much space as any other label printer. I actually wonder if people are reviewing the older 280 model (I don't even know if it exists) because I think the strap/battery claims are completely false. Also, I literally ordered two rolls of black duct tape on white for $6, and you can get a better deal if you buy the duct tape in bulk. Seriously if you want a great label printer and you have a computer this one costs $26 and literally prints your face, if you upload a picture of your face it's just a very small picture of your face in black and white lol. But don't buy this if you don't have a computer. The device itself has fewer features than you could get with a $10 label printer, so you literally need a computer to access the amazing features. Also, now you only need 1/2" tape no matter what. I've always been a 3/8" girl, but now that I can print so many cool fonts, I need a wider ribbon to print my designs to be able to see better. I got really really bored the first time I used this because you have so many options! I usually enjoy spending my time creating the perfect label, but it literally took me forever to create reviewing each of my fonts and then adding pictures! I literally got bored and just chose whatever. Don't be fooled by everyone's stupid reviews. To be honest I was so apprehensive about buying this or any other Revain label printer But then I finally realized that you should buy Dymo. You can't help but buy Dymo. And I'm really surprised I got such a cool label printer for only $26 can get! Even if it looks like a $4 Star Trek kid's toy.
