Review on 🔵 Blue Ox BX1126 Base Plate: Sleek, Dependable Black Design by Eugene Cox

I bought this in May 2018 and installed it mid June 2018. This level of rusting after less than a year of use is unacceptable. The Jeep it is mounted on, a 2012 model, has lived its entire life in a salt belt and there is less rust on the Jeep's undercarriage than on this baseplate. I chose this handlebar mount because it is less obtrusive than the Roadmaster system. Now it looks awful, the paint is peeling off in huge chunks. I intend to contact Blue Ox for the warranty as I am concerned about the long term durability of a product with this level of corrosion less than a year after installation.
