stunning. The horns and heater work even if you only had electric mirrors without those bells and whistles.

so I read many reviews before deciding to buy. Found 2 people saying horns and heated mirrors would work for someone like me who currently only has electric mirrors. Based on that, and after asking if these features would work for me, I ordered them with two-day shipping and installed them today. The build quality is excellent, they are heavy and sturdy. I have a 2003 Silverado HD with only power mirrors. After hooking them up to switches to adjust windows/door locks/mirrors I now have signals in my mirrors working and heating up. It's hot as hell in here right now, but when I turn on the rear window defroster I can feel the mirrors heating up. My truck has an 8" lift and I've thought about buying them for years and now that I've bought them I'm very happy and wish I had done it sooner. Regarding installation, I previously removed these panels but forgot how to do it. i trusted the video on youtube and found out a valuable mistake. the video was for panel 99-2006. they show how to pry open the switch panel. the instructions came with the mirrors to do the same. for my 2003 i did it and damaged it because there is a screw at the end closest to the mirror. First you need to remove the panel and then unscrew this inverted screw before removing the switch panel. Or unplug all plugs from the switch panel instead of removing it. .
