Simple form and function

I bought these mirrors to replace the smaller factory mirrors that came with my 2003 GMC Sierra. The glass was yellowing and fogging up and I figured it would be better to have a larger retractable towing mirror. Installation is fairly easy, especially as I've removed interior door panels to replace power windows in the past. They are a bit heavy though, so someone had to hold the mirror out while I tightened the mounting screws. what is behind you An excellent combination of form and function.

  • Quality construction

  • Little repairability

Not very happy with this purchase

Not very happy with this purchase. Initially I bought this because the price was very good compared to the competition, but after installing it I quickly understood why. The installation itself was simple and straightforward, requiring only a wrench and an outlet to get the job done. The quality of the product is decent at best, but when you look in the passenger mirror you can't judge the distance correctly because everything is too close. On the other hand, the magnification of the driver's…

Others said so before my review.

Most reviews on target: Mirror mounted at an angle. You would think they could fix it already. The passenger side vibrates about as much as the originals. The view from the mirrors takes some time to get used to the usability. However, they work as advertised and are an improvement over standard mirrors. After speaking to a colleague who added aftermarket mirrors to his 2004 Duramax, he gave me a part number from another well known automotive website. I checked this part number at Revain and…

For those of you who want to install these mirrors.

For those of you looking to install these mirrors on older Chevy models you will need to make some connections/connections as it is not plug and play from 2002 or older but don't worry , I hope you save a lot of time! I installed on a 2002 Silverado LT. The wiring was as follows: Driver side: Truck-Black wire = Mirror Black wire (Black Wire Harness) AND Mirror White wire (Blue Wire Harness) Truck-White = Mirror Red (Black Wire Harness) Truck-Green = Mirror Yellow (Black Wire Harness) )…

so I read many reviews before deciding to buy. Found 2 people saying horns and heated mirrors would work for someone like me who currently only has electric mirrors. Based on that, and after asking if these features would work for me, I ordered them with two-day shipping and installed them today. The build quality is excellent, they are heavy and sturdy. I have a 2003 Silverado HD with only power mirrors. After hooking them up to switches to adjust windows/door locks/mirrors I now have signals…

Glad I finally made it!

Okay, let me start by saying I've been wanting to add mirrors to my Silverado 06 for a number of years. I was close to buying aftermarket or spending $900 on an OEM from a dealer. Well, I re-read all the reviews about it, which are mostly very positive. I have a very obsessive-compulsive disorder. LOL and I am concerned about the reviews vibrating and tipping up slightly. Well I broke down and ordered an OEM through an online GM parts dealer. When ordering I had to give my chassis number. I…

They are not cheap, but they are very well made and fit perfectly.

I bought these to replace the "Halloween victims" of the original OEM mirrors. They fit perfectly on the doors of my 2007 Chevy Classic 1500. The instructions are useless so don't plan on using them for anything other than junk. If you go to U-Tube to find a mirror replacement video the videos may not be correct for this PU setup (all I could find were the wrong door despite saying it was the correct model and year) for the doors were all very different to anything i could find. It's not…
