They look very pretty and look like 3D cartoons. Larger ones are harder to apply without blistering or wrinkling, but that's the nature of these things. They are thin and plastic like a sticker, not like the stickers you use on paper. We put ours on the car. It's a very old car so we were willing to take the risk of damaging the paint but the ones I screwed up came off the car just fine but not without damaging the decal. I tore off a bit of the backing and glued it on, then used the rubber end of a squeegee to press it down while removing the foil. This made the smaller ones a breeze. I don't know yet how they'll hold up to the weather and sun, but they're not really designed for that, so it's no big deal if they don't.
