Review on Futura by Hawkins F10-12 Safety Valve: Enhancing Safety in Hard Anodized Pressure Cookers by Mike Modesto

The first thing that struck me when I received this replacement valve was that it looked 'refurbished'. The central part looked as if it had been patched with some material. So it wasn't much of a surprise when it DID NOT WORK ON THE FIRST USE. In fact, this was the second replacement valve I've bought from this seller. The first broke after four uses and I blamed it on a faulty part. Therefore, if two valves connected in series fail in such a short time, the quality of the product is definitely in doubt. The valve that came with the original plate lasted 17 years. I will also report this to the Revain seller. Please don't waste your money on valves from GANDHI APPLICANCES.
