Futura by Hawkins F10-12 Safety Valve: Enhancing Safety in Hard Anodized Pressure Cookers Review

When I ordered my pressure cooker, I decided to order a new safety valve at the same time. Glad I did. While my husband was cooking potatoes, the stove ran out of water. The safety valve has fulfilled its function.

I ordered this on June 22, 2020 and received it a few days later. I use this pressure cooker maybe twice a week, three times at most. 40 days passed and the valve burst. The one I got when I bought the pressure cooker lasted almost 2 years.

The first thing that struck me when I received this replacement valve was that it looked 'refurbished'. The central part looked as if it had been patched with some material. So it wasn't much of a surprise when it DID NOT WORK ON THE FIRST USE. In fact, this was the second replacement valve I've bought from this seller.
