GREAT sound and price. When I put my first CD in, I was pleasantly surprised by the sound quality. For such a compact unit it delivers a nice, solid midrange rather than the metallic or piercing nature of some units of this size. I use it next to my bed. To my surprise, there was one feature I really liked – it's a remote control! I didn't have to press the button, which can be frustrating because the text markers are pretty small. The only thing you have to do manually is to open and close the CD case.
