Last fall I needed a spotting scope for moose hunting and didn't have much money to throw away on a Viper scope and I came across a comparison video of this scope versus seeing one Viper. This one seemed to work just as well, so I figured I'd make the purchase. This scope was used on a moose hunt in Alaska. It was raining and the area worked great. He was with me in the elements in the rain for 2 days and there was no moisture inside. I decided to do a real test and put the wet scope in the mount and in a sealed box and after 2 days when I finally got home I took out the scope and wiped the moisture off the outer lenses, there was none moisture inside. it at all. It's great volume and performs better than you'd expect for the price. The image of the sight is very clear. I could see the moose playing and splashing in the pond from more than 3 miles away.
