Based on the reviews I was concerned about how noisy this unit would be…. I installed it at the far end of the garage to keep it away from the living area in case it got too noisy. I'm happy to say it's not that loud - it's quieter than I expected; My compressor is loud. The tremor isn't "chunky," it's actually quite a dull sound. Color mixing is good - it's almost a rolling shake, which is better - see video. It should be noted that you will need to lubricate the air intake every time you use it, which is pretty normal for air tools. There are two oilers (shown) that require regular maintenance. Installation took about 20 minutes - most of the time was spent installing (bolts were shorter than expected, I had to countersink the bottom of the bench to get the nuts tight enough. Overall a great tool - good quality, good performance... a little heavier than expected but looks like a quality tool, let's see how it performs next year, I'm a housewife so I'll probably only use it once a month...
