It's been a few weeks now that I've been using it, and throughout that time I've managed to take hundreds of pictures while I'm on vacation. The camera is noticeably better than the one found on the 6S Plus, and it can take pictures in low light. The daytime hours are likewise highly deserving of consideration. It's more of a personal preference than anything else, so I can't say whether it's better or worse than the Galaxy S7. There is a discernible decrease in the camera's energy consumption (tested by hours of walking and shooting). Prior to that, I used a 6S Plus and a Galaxy S7, both of which are incredibly quick; nonetheless, even in comparison to those two devices, the 7 Plus appeared to be faster and more "responsive." As I have been wearing only wireless headphones (Sony MDR-1ABT, Beats Studio Wireless) for the past year and a half, the removal of a 3.5 mm connector is completely unnoticeable to me at this point. I will never return to working with wire. It is simply unavoidable that, in the long run, headphones and other accessories will require a digital and/or wireless connection. I haven't done any measurements that are statistically significant, but the battery life seems to be slightly greater than what the 6S Plus offered. I liked how the taptic engine worked as well as the touch home button. The feedback is useful in applications, and I imagine it would be awesome in games. Overall, I couldn't be happier with my decision to upgrade from the 6S Plus (which is now my second travel device).
