Found these pliers by accident while looking for a good pair of pliers. I bought this in preparation for when I needed to fix some of my cabinets with rusty screws that were soft and stripped from over tightening. I used to have to use brute force to completely remove these fasteners as they were too rusty to carefully remove with a screwdriver and destroy other things in the process. These pliers should help. My first impression, the locksmith pliers were well made. Despite the look of the handles with a lot of square corners, they don't bother me, maybe because they are covered with rubber. The movement of the hinge is smooth, but not too loose. The sharp blades close fully when closed and cleanly cut copper wire. It's great for twisting solid wire, but as I expected, it's not good for twisting stranded wire. I will only use it for loosening screws as I have other pliers for heavier work. Apparently this Japanese instrument will last quite a long time. I will update this review if anything else happens. Overall, I'm glad I found these unique pliers.
