The best value for money on the market today!

Hello everyone! So you've decided to go internet streaming. Someone might have decided to only use Netflix or Hulu, or someone wiser might have invested in Sling TV. The problem is you still need local news and weather and you live either in the country or in the suburbs about 40 miles from OTA stations. You've jumped on the bandwagon and bought either a flat HDTV antenna or a premium rabbit-ear system. Now you will realize it was a waste of time except for the UHF stations. So what will you do when OTA stations move back to the VHF bands within the next two years? Well, if you're smart, buy a QFX ANT106, use RTV/silicone to mount the elements, and put 75 ohm terminators on unused amp outputs. Then you climb up into your attic and drive a nail as high as you can into one of the rafters. Then take a hanger, fold it in half over the nail and bend the two loops at the end to hang the VHF part of the antenna. You then either run the bottom wire to a hole that goes down in the wall that you can fish out through the hole in the antenna panel, or you carefully poke a hole in the ceiling near the corner and feed the wire through. You then connect the bottom cable to the amplifier and connect the TV to the other output of the main cable by placing a 75 ohm termination on the unused jack. As a result, you can now see the TV channels that the antenna is pointing at, even if they are 60 miles away. You can even add a second antenna pointing the other way and combine both signals with a simple multi-input 3dB combiner or distribution amplifier, take that output and plug one of the DA connectors into what used to be your house's cable box, to share with others. TV at home while reserving a connection for your TV. Just make sure you unplug any unused connections so you don't overheat the amp. Good luck, I doubt you'll need it because for less than $40 and a few hours you can save over $1000 in your first year of cable.
