We tried many different rocking machines. We tried the swing but it was tiring to set up and upset the kids. It seems silly, but it really helps keep your hands on the ball. We use it with wifl or tennis balls at home. using it to get to the point of contact and stop the swing, and then using it to end the swing seemed to help avoid the "kicking" of the swing. It seems expensive for what it is (basic metal, nothing high-tech), but for a dad who spends far too much time and money on baseball, it seems like a good investment.
