I bought this to attach our EMS to a utility pole when camping. Last week was our first camping trip that I had a chance to try. It was easy to install and I added the key to my keychain. After 8 days of camping we set up camp and headed home. The key was difficult to turn. It turned but was quite heavy. The key must be turned 90 degrees to unlock. I made it about 75 degrees before the key broke. Big! Used for the first time and the key broke off. I used a cheap multi tool to cut the cable. It took a bit of effort to use the blade of the pliers on the multi-tools, but I cut them off in about 90 seconds. Wow! Imagine if I had the right tools. The next one I will try should be thicker and have a lock instead of a key. That is trash. I noticed that the key wasn't very easy to move when I first got it, but it wasn't so heavy that I would worry about the small key bending. I didn't expect high security from this, but I expected the key to at least work.
