I specifically ordered this external audio box to use as an adapter for my UHF wireless lavalier system with 3.5mm jacks and to convert the system transmission to a USB output for my MacBookPro. I use it in live streaming and video production so I can use non-USB mics for the USB input. The system works well, if not very intuitively. However, through trial and error I find the right combination of inputs, controls and outputs for my specific needs. After that it works without any problems and made my work a lot easier. There is no interference or buzzing and the device delivers a clean output signal. The device feels good in the hand and all buttons work perfectly. Overall, this sound card met my needs, although it took me a few tries to find the right settings and the right I/Os due to sub-optimal instructions. For me it's FOUR STARS, but with a recommendation for its performance, compactness and affordable price!
