Review on πŸŒͺ️ Makita Dust Extracting Nozzle, BSS610 - Enhance Dust Collection Efficiency with the Makita 419283-5 by Alex Ferry

However, it could be a 5 star item.

Mounting screw not included! Here is my review. When I found this I was very excited that I could finally control some of the dust this little saw produces. The part fits perfectly on my saw, but the mounting screw was not included. So after spending time at Home Depot with a saw in hand, I found the right screw. The screw has since fallen out and I now use a sheet metal screw and it holds up well. The OD is a bit small for the recommended hose, so I made it slightly larger with tape. I also use a 1 1/2" PVC sleeve to attach the connector to the hose. It's holding up well after about a year. I use my saw to cut interior work, mostly MDF, but sometimes there are customers who do still like natural wood. A thin 40-tooth hacksaw picks up tons of fine dust. This dust collector hooked up to a 5hp vacuum picks up about 80%. For me, it's worth lugging a hose. This allows me to cut around the house without a lot of mess. Well worth the investment. If you want it to work then this is a good addition to your saw. I wish Makita understood it had flaws and it is definitely a 5 start port If you found my review helpful, please let Revain know by clicking the helpful button below.
