I have used this on 2 day old adoptive kittens. I placed it at the bottom of her nest and covered it with a thin cloth for easy washing so I didn't have to constantly take the cover off. It was perfect. The kittens were kept warm and safe, and when they fell on the blanket they were so easy to spot that I didn't often have to take the blanket off and put it in the washing machine. I preferred this pillow to the microwave because the temperature is stable, it doesn't get too hot but I don't have to wait for it to cool down to reheat it like I would in a microwave. I use a different type for temporary or travel purposes, e.g. B. if they are handed over to an I. Carrier or if I put them in a separate place to clear their area. It was perfect for what it was intended for and the coating on the line gave me peace of mind that their little claws or new teeth wouldn't cut or hurt it.
