The lid that comes with this jug is not the same as in the photo; The one pictured on the jug fits a 64 ounce bottle with no handle. Taken back because of the handle. I broke the cap on the bottle I dropped last time and it was about 3/4 full. Somehow the lid still snaps into place, but I wouldn't trust it more than not getting dirty. They fit the same so if I hadn't broken the other lid I would have moved it. The last time I bought this pitcher. I'd say it's quite contrived and not that convincing. I would trust a different cap as it only allows you to pour a small amount so you don't dump more than intended. Otherwise the smell is very pleasant, actually they both are. The best part is that one smells like bubblegum, the other not so much; But you get used to it.
