Review on StarTech RK812WALLO Frame Mount Equipment by Timothy Louis

This is absolutely perfect for my needs. I prefer this over other small rack designs that tilt your components backwards. If I could attach a picture to this review I would show you my setup. I have a power strip, a UPS, a network switch, and a desktop-sized NAS. I even had enough space to put Nixie's cool watch on the shelf. Another great thing about this design is that you can put anything on it too. In my case, my printer sits on top. I also saved some space by placing my NAS on the bottom, as it's not a rackmount version, which is actually well below the lowest 1U. I didn't mount it on the wall but on my desk which I prefer so I can slide it forward for easier access from the back. I suppose if it were wall mounted it would make things a little more difficult. The included hardware was estimated and was exactly the amount I needed for the four components I installed. The assembly was easy, all parts are well finished, without roughness. Very good product.
