Very important part of the ice maker
I bought a new ice maker and was asked to replace a filter for the water that goes to the ice machine. We did and I'm glad we did. I found our water to be fine, not great, but fine by city and state standards. With the added filter, the ice maker now makes great ice cubes and also reduces the frequency with which I have to clean the ice maker.
