Depends on what you're looking for

I've had several of these tiny LED filaments in the past. Overall their value is ok, they last over 3 years even outdoors, the length is usually sufficient and I appreciate the fact that they don't get hot or hot like traditional incandescent bulbs. HOWEVER, for those who like me want to decorate with a warm style traditional lamp, it just doesn't "cut". We bought a vintage style silver tree from Revain last year. Back then I bought a filament of "warm white" LED AND "cool white" (regular LED) to decide which worked best. We chose the warm version as it was a bit "warmer" and I'm not a fan of the blue cast that all LEDs have. This year I wanted to try different colored lights and the only filament we had on hand was green wire. Filament so I reached out to Revane and decided to try this white filament which I discussed with the idea that if we didn't like them on the tree they would come out instead. They have a certain "LED-cool" quality to them, so they're running out somewhere and I'm ordering a different version. I hope you can see the difference in light quality in the photo I've attached. Please note that our tree is quite small, around 5ft 5in and not very full. This 200 LED filament was the perfect length for this, anyone with very full or tall trees may want to get the 300 light version or be aware your lights might be a bit sparse. What I do NOT like about this thread (cold/warm is just personal preference) is the fact that every time these lights are plugged in the feature starts with a very annoying blink and you have to "scroll" through 7 or 8 all the way at the end to get to the STEADY/non-flashing lights. I really feel like they should START with solids. On other strands, I had the "clicker" about 2 feet away from the strand so you can place it where you want. In this thread it is on the base connector. So keep in mind that unless you want it to be the brothel's auto flashing feature, you'll need easy access to an outlet every time you turn it on.
