If you decide to do it yourself and are going with a 2000 Dakota or Durango, here's my best advice. Remove rear floor glass

Item works as advertised. I will say that replacing any of them is not an easy task. If you are unsure of your mechanical skills, you can leave this to a professional. If you decide to do it yourself and are going with a 2000 Dakota or Durango, here's my best advice. Remove the rear lower glass guide. I didn't want to do it, but when I did it all fell into place. I was surprised how easy it was to replace the glass guide after installing the drive. If I had known this advice beforehand, I would have saved myself bruises and swear words. A small mirror glued into the door cavity is also useful. The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is the lack of installation instructions. This may have been a positive since the part is made in China. I'm not sure how long this will take, but hey, the truck is 16 years old. Much luck.
