Double check configuration

Working! But in doing so we found that we have to move the motor clamp after he inserts the block into the door. Double check the config with the old one before pasting to save yourself some headaches.

Works but no child lock

Appropriate. You can tell it was designed for several different vehicles. As another reviewer mentioned, I had to move one of the plastic mounts to fit my 2001 Dodge Dakota's configuration. I held both drives in my hands for comparison. Easy installation. Works as advertised. Would give it five stars but it didn't have parental controls like the original drive.

Electric Door Lock Installation Tip

Works like a charm to eliminate that annoying squeak you hear when a truck door locks and opens. Installation wasn't difficult if you had the right tools, but attaching the door knob was the tricky part. After installing the first three bars, it is best to attach the fourth door handle bar by loosening the mounting screws to move the operator away from the frame. Then reinsert the door handle into the door drive and finally mount the fastening screws.

If you decide to do it yourself and are going with a 2000 Dakota or Durango, here's my best advice. Remove rear floor glass

Item works as advertised. I will say that replacing any of them is not an easy task. If you are unsure of your mechanical skills, you can leave this to a professional. If you decide to do it yourself and are going with a 2000 Dakota or Durango, here's my best advice. Remove the rear lower glass guide. I didn't want to do it, but when I did it all fell into place. I was surprised how easy it was to replace the glass guide after installing the drive. If I had known this advice beforehand, I would
