I have been buying these knives for several years. Very sharp, very light. The only downside is that they look like toys for the uninformed. Keep children away from them: They are excellent cutting tools that can seriously damage little fingers. The downside is that they are so colorful. They tend to disappear from our busy kitchens. I don't know if people borrow them or unknowingly throw them away because they look like toys. I shouldn't be complaining - the same thing has happened to all the $40-$60 "nice" paring knives I've bought over the last 20 years. There are no problems. Obviously this sharpener drops the blades at 15 or 17 degrees which makes cutting even better. Even our less talented cooks like to use them. Just buy them. They work.
