Review on Explore Nature With RESTCLOUD 24-Inch Insect And Butterfly Habitat Cage Terrarium by Brian Summers

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Overall a great product. but.

I am currently raising a large brood of Polyphemus caterpillars, so added two more of these cages to the three that I already had. One is perfect but the second reeks to high heaven of some sort of floral scent. It’s been expanded for a week now. I even washed it in the shower, but it still reeks so much that I hate to walk by it. I’m not sure whether it was simply stored next to something smelly and the plastic picked up the scent, but it’s really awful. If I wasn’t desperate for the cage I’d send it back. But overall these cages are great for raising moths or butterflies. They open easily and are easy to move around. I have hung them from hooks outside to let the caterpillars get fresh air, and they are perfect for housing females to attract males. And when not in use they fold flat. I really like them except for this last stinky one.** update - I have now purchased 6 of these and only the one was fragrant… it’s been a few weeks open now and the scent has finally mostly dissipated.
