Welding rod is good!
Bought these forney rods to test. If you use them with an AC welder, they're pretty good. The box was dated September 2016 so they were fresh. Each rod was fine, the flux did not chip off. The lugs were cut nicely, the hit was clean and stuck out a bit and went away. They're great for 1/8" hobby steel work. Not a professional welder by any means, but compared to Lincoln, Hobart 7014 bars I can't tell the difference with AC. Taking off one star for the plastic canister, too flimsy, not airtight.Expect to put them in the best rod holder.
