What a great tool! An absolute must have for any home renovation, I can't believe I've survived so many of them without it, I can never go back. Comes in a beautiful velvet pouch for easy storage with a graphite pencil. I didn't use a pencil because I had my own, but the scale is amazing. It is very useful, among other things, to give parquet/tiles any irregular shape, such as e.g. B. door frames, pipes or uneven corners. The sensor itself is 10 inches long and has 16 petals per inch. It's made of plastic but very durable. It has a clasp at its base (the black part that looks like a ruler) that holds the sheets in place and makes it very easy to contour the shape. The base is measured in both inches and centimeters, which I appreciate as I prefer centimeters for more accuracy. Generally excellent quality! I highly recommend.
