Having used both this and Omnimount I can definitely tell you that the Vantage Point is better than the two for two reasons. First, the speaker doesn't sag like the Omnimount does. I have an NHT Superone 2.1 that weighs 9.1 pounds and with the Omnimount sags almost completely no matter how tight it's tightened. So I took it off and ordered the Vantage Point and it keeps the speaker vertical pretty well. By no means level, but much better. The second reason is that Vantage Point allows you to easily rotate the speaker if you feel like changing the position a bit. With Omnimount it is locked. Let's face it, it's difficult to wall mount speakers weighing more than 9 pounds. If I could do it again, I would go for the smaller NHT Superzero 2.1, because you don't need the full bandwidth for surround sound.
