Review on πŸ’‘ Sengled Pulse: Pewter Dimmable LED Light Bulb with Built-In JBL Speaker (Master + Satellite Pair) - Wireless Bluetooth Innovation by Brenda Hofheins

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Bluetooth just isn't Wi-Fi like its cousin. honest sound. Pretty hard.

I recently bought some Sengled lamps that used a Wi-Fi connection. What I didn't realize is that they only connect via Bluetooth and require a heart rate app and not an Element Home app. As with any Bluetooth device, you need to determine the range in your home. I wish there was a Bluetooth extender for them. You cannot control the audio level for individual speakers, only turn them on and off. You can control individual light levels. I also suggest turning off the lights while enjoying the music. They get pretty hot at 100 percent, which I think shortens the lifespan of the devices. You can't schedule them to turn the lights on and off like their Wi-Fi cousins. Of course, the acoustics also depend on the placement and type of device you put them in. There are some nice tweaks in the sound settings like assigning right, left or both speakers, as well as some basic frequency settings like classic, jazz, rock. Cinema, pop and regular. Also note that they are decently heavy and are more likely to knock over non-essential table lamps or when used on the side of a narrow floor lamp. I haven't had it for a long time, so I'm only giving it 3 stars for now.
