Review on πŸ“‘ Enhanced Signal Distribution with CHANNEL PLUS 2532 2-Way Splitter/Combiner by Mike Mitchell

Revainrating 5 out of 5

"Combiner " is the best way to connect two antennas

Channel Plus 2532 reversible combiner seems to have solved my problem with connecting two antennas 99%. When I used to use two other splitters to connect two antennas, I had my TV pixelated on two channels at certain times of the day. One of my existing antennas has a short, poor quality cable that connects directly to it and cannot be replaced. This cable is not as good quality as the RG-6 cable and I believe the signal was sometimes affected by interference. I ordered a replacement antenna that plugs directly into an RG-6 cable. --- However, with this new combiner, I only had TV pixelation once in the last three days, even with my current antenna cable. I've read that most/all "splitters" can actually be used for both directions, but in my experience a "combiner" is much better for connecting two antennas to one cable. Note that I also use another "splitter" at the boot end of my cable to route the signal to the DVR and TV.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Requires power socket
