Works for hardware multiboxing

Some other reviews mention that this device is good for moving from computer to computer, which of course it does. But it also works well in "synchronous" mode, where it essentially acts as a major "broadcaster" (like the hardware version of the ISboxer). As mentioned, it doesn't support advanced mouse features (so it won't take full advantage of your 15-button gaming mouse), and the manual is sparse. But as a basic hardware "broadcaster" it works fine. Front panel buttons also allow use in the more conventional "switching" KVM mode. Another point: your computer can't detect what type of keyboard you have (is it, for example, an ANSI keyboard or some kind of international keyboard?), so you may need to tell your computer what type of keyboard you have in the system settings . (Your computer will probably tell you). It makes sense, because as far as your computers can tell, this box is just a very versatile keyboard and mouse combo.

Pros
  • Pleasing
Cons
  • Definitely bad product
