Several reviews said the sheets were warped. Mine were too, but not by much. When I lay one of the sheets on a flat surface, three sides are flat and the fourth is flat on the ends but gradually rises about 1/16 inch above the flat surface in the middle of that side. This wasn't really a problem for me since I made the shelves about 5 inches wide so I could use the flatter half of the board. You will never notice any warping in the finished product unless you look for it. Maybe not even then. On the plus side, the panels are firm, the fibers are quite attractive with no knots, and the sanded side looks as if she could get dirty. and something really good at the end. I varnished mine so I can only guess how the stain will come out. Cut edges can be easily sanded to a smooth finish. I did sand the flats a little extra before spray painting, but it was quick and easy. Seller's photos reflect appearance well. Overall I'm satisfied and if I had the choice I would definitely buy it again.
