Keeps everything in and everything else out

I bought these for camping and backpacking mainly because they keep everything in the bag on the outside and what's in. Well, these bags definitely nailed it! Warning: The next part might sound gross to some, but it will give you an idea of how REALLY good these bags are. We take our dog on camping trips where it's allowed, and because we want to be good leave no trace stewards, we feel obligated to take our dog's poop with us. In the past, Ziplocs and everything else we've tried just couldn't stop the smell, but the ALOSAK bag rocked! And nobody had to carry the bag, it went in the backpack without any problems. And when you get home, wash the bag and set it out in the sun to dry, you'll never guess what little "gifts" are inside. But one more warning: it stores the contents inside - all of which almost made me faint opening it, but the bag never stunk from the outside. (We've labeled this bag to be used for this one purpose only.) Other things we've used the bags for were trash, cooked chicken, toiletries, and other potentially leaky, smelly disasters. And by putting a bag of cooked chicken in the stream, not only will the contents chill well, but water won't seep into the bag, so they work phenomenally well in the fridge with ice. While they were originally made for hiking and mountaineering, we now use them for travel as well because the leak and odor protection is amazing! In addition, they are transparent, making them great for airport security. While they aren't cheap, they are far more useful and economical than ziplocs or other pouch-type containers.
