🎒 LOKSAK Waterproof Bags Assorted Sizes Multi-Pack - 5x4, 4x7, 6x6, 9x6 (Set of 4) Review

Just a glorified zip pocket and they fall apart quickly. I bought them in December 2015 and all three I brought overseas (two months in India and then a month in Japan) were torn apart. The tops (where you have to push the two sides apart to open the bag) come loose and they can no longer open without grabbing something. For the price, they should last *much* longer. Totally dissatisfied with this purchase.

Ordered for the upcoming trip where we had to go tubing through the caves. I only checked the items the day before the trip and found that the quart size was leaking. Other items I bought didn't say "military grade" or "water resistant to 60 meters / 200 feet" but they were water resistant. My Aloksak leaked less than 2 inches of water. Unfortunately I waited too long to return it. Lesson learned but still very disappointed. Can't trust so they are very expensive sandwich bags now.

Unfortunately one of mine has a hole in it from use. Apparently the tape was in contact during shipping and there were a number of small holes in the largest box. I like the bags themselves, but the reputation didn't live up to expectations in my opinion. The price of the question seems high to me for the goods. I achieved the same goal with vacuum bags for a lot less money. I can't say the product is bad and therefore higher stars, I just feel I can do the same with commercial freezer bags…

Pros: The print is definitely very good. Also, they are very prone to breakdowns. Experience: I was in Nicaragua navigating with an iPhone. Every time we went out on the water we had our phone in one of the pockets. After a day of use the lip of the bag broke but the lock was intact - no big deal, it can still be used and does the job but just a minor inconvenience. These are the famous zip pockets. I was hoping that they would be a bit more durable due to the purpose and price, but they are not. It would be fine for light use, but not for traveling and impacting luggage or heavy mobile use. I have used them to protect my passport, important documents, phone, iPad etc. when cruising the Amazon during rainy season and high humidity. I have never given a 1 star rating because seldom has a product completely let me down in every way. Unfortunately Alock is a total disappointment and I am amazed how they can sell a product that is inferior and expensive than a basic zipped bag.
